    The woolen fabric has a plump surface with a tight and thick texture. There are fine fluff on the surface, and the texture is generally not revealed. It feels warm, plump and elastic. The fabric is mostly knit with 1 PLY of roving yarn.

    The surface of worsted fabric is smooth and clean, and the texture is fine and clear. The luster is soft and natural, and the color is pure. Soft and elastic to the touch. Pinch the fabric with your hands and loosen it, the crease is not obvious, and it can quickly return to its original state. The fabric is mostly knit with 2 or more PLY of worsted yarn.   

     Worsted fabrics are softer and lighter, so they are more suitable for spring and summer clothing. Woolen fabrics has high thermal insulation and is more suitable for autumn and winter.

    What is silk-cashmere ?

    Silk-cashmere is a blend of real silk and cashmere, so it has the advantage of both silk and cashmere. There is an air layer in the middle of the cashmere fiber, and mulberry silk is natural animal protein fiber, which belongs to a kind of porous material. It is good at air permeability and moisture absorption as well as smooth, soft and lustrous. The density of the two fibers is very small, and they have good moisture absorption, moisture dissipation and breathability. Silk is bright with soft luster, good at moisture absorption and air permeability, light, smooth and flexible. In the meanwhile, cashmere fiber is fine, soft, tough and not easy to fade, which makes it the most suitable for close-fitting wear. Products made of silk cashmere yarn not only retain the soft and high-end nature of cashmere, but also overcomes the shortcomings of cashmere products such as being easy to shrink and wrinkle. So wearing such products is more comfortable.

    Why is silk and cashmere blended knitwear suitable for summer?

    For most women, many people work in the office and there are few opportunities to work outdoors in summer. It's cold and wet in the air-conditioned room. In the environment where you don't sweat often, silk and cashmere knitwear looks great. It can make us feel comfortable and cool while keeping our skin warm. "A well-made dress, takes its shape from the figure and its folds from the movements of the girl who wears it." Natural silk cashmere products are just like this.     There are two common proportions of silk and cashmere blends. One is 55% silk 45% cashmere and the other is 85% silk 15% cashmere. The most popular in spring clothes is 55% silk 45% cashmere because this proportion is smooth and soft. While at the beginning of summer, our skin likes 85% silk 15% cashmere better. With more silk, we can feel cool and refresh. The silk and cashmere yarns in spring and summer are mostly high counts such as 48 and 60, and mainly used for 14gg, 16gg, 18gg machine knitting. The finer and higher the gauge of the yarn, the more difficult it is to knit. Because it’s too fine to knit quickly. The phenomenon of missing needles is prone to occur, which is a test of the skills for a craftsmen. Therefore, the reason why high-count silk cashmere product is a high-end knitting product is not only because of the material but also because of the craftsmanship. Grade A cashmere is of high quality, with an average fineness of 14-16.5 microns and an average length of 36-40 mm. This grade of cashmere has a small amount. All the cashmere products that we offer are made with this very fine grade of cashmere.

Most cashmere sweater brands use B-quality cashmere. Its main feature is that the fineness is 16-19 microns and the average length is 34 mm.

The quality of C-grade cashmere is the lowest among the three types of cashmere. The diameter of C-grade cashmere is between 19-30 microns and the average length is 28mm. Cashmere sweaters produced by fast fashion brands often use this type of cashmere.

The longer and thinner the fiber, the stronger and more durable the cashmere yarn spined. The yarn composed of long cashmere fiber can reduce the loose ends and obtain the softest hand feeling. Since it can be compactly spun, it can produce a more uniform and smooth surface. The final cashmere product is softer and has a more shiny appearance, because it helps light reflection.

The long cashmere fiber can maintain its physical integrity for a long time, so that the cashmere sweater will maintains its structural appearance.

The second number refers to the yarn count used to indicate the fineness of the cashmere yarn. If the length of one gram of cashmere yarn is 26 meters, then the yarn count is 26 --- the length of the yarn divided by the weight. The higher of the cashmere yarn count, the finer the yarn and the price will be more expensive.

Gauge of cashmere knitwear means the number of stitches in a square inch, The larger the gauge, the thinner the cashmere yarn needed; the smaller the gauge, the thicker the cashmere yarn needed.But it’s not that the thinner the cashmere sweater the cheaper, because the thinner the cashmere sweater, the thinner the cashmere yarn required, the more difficult it is to spin, and the loss rate is also much higher.

The weight of cashmere sweaters is lighter than that of the same gauge sweaters of wool and other materials.

Cashmere sweaters are fluffy and have good elasticity. If you hold them tightly and let go, the clothes will rebound quickly and return to their original shape without creases.

Stretch the cashmere sweater to look at the density of the cashmere sweater against the light. Good cashmere sweater has clear and neat lines, not easy to show light, and last many years of wear.

Look

The difference between cashmere sweater and woolen sweater

1. From the grade point of view, cashmere is known as soft gold, is synonymous with luxury, and woolen sweater is an ordinary product.

2. From the brand situation, the brand operation of cashmere is obviously worse than that of woolen sweaters. Therefore, the price of domestic high-end sweaters is not much lower than that of cashmere sweaters, even higher than that of mid-range cashmere sweaters.

3. From the design point of view, cashmere has some limitations in dyeing, so the color is not as good as wool sweater. From the perspective of warmth, cashmere sweaters are better than sweaters. But the cashmere sweater is best worn close to the body, so that the warmth is better. Cardigans are not suitable for close-fitting because of their thick fibers.

4. From the perspective of fabrics, cashmere sweater fibers are thinner than woolen sweaters, and there are balloons in the wear, while sweaters are generally not or lighter.

Chemical fiber is not processed by the combing machine because it is neat in length, less in contaminants, and has a straight parallel state.
